Best software to change pitch and/or tempo of mixed song I'm curious what software y'all are using to do this these days with the least amount of artifacts. I have used Abelton Live, Logic, Melodyne, etc, but I'm not really that pleased with any of them. User8700383 Home user Member since 2014 So I just recently got Virtual DJ 8, And I tried changing the pitch to a 5.6, the thing is, the pitch stayed the same, but the song only got slower. Please respond.

Pcdj Dex 3 Changing Pitch Each Time Song Is Loaded Lyrics
- Thanks Fania,I was able to confirm the issue on this end. We saw your reply to the blog post on this already and sent the issue over to development. It does seem that even with reset pitch on load unchecked, the pitch is still resetting. Should be an easy enough fix and will come in the next patch/update.Curious (personally) why you’d want the pitch always up (or down) for all songs during automix? Not sure pitch is really what your after, but rather a constant (same) BPM?Pitch is a percentage adjustment. Meaning if you set it at 8%, all songs will then load and play at 8% (at least when it’s working properly this is how it works!). It’s not based on BPM, it’s based on percentage. So unless all your salsa songs are already at the same BPM, each will still play at different speeds since it’s going to adjust the pitch up or down based on the percentage the pitch fader is at.If you have one track at 120 BPM (tempo) and pitch is up 8% than that BPM will be: 129.60
If you have another track at 89 BPM (tempo) and pitch is still up 8% than that BPM will change to: 96.12We DO have an option for Beat Matching during automix – this feature uses “SYNC” to match BPM’s – instead of pitch. However this won’t likely work for you since it will blend the ins and outs on beat. Although, if you’re using automix it is already going to be blending the ins/outs. Maybe you should try the “beat matching during automix” setting in options and try automix? This way whatever you set the tempo to for the first song loaded all songs should play at that same BPM.Not sure this will work flawlessly for you but likely better than just pitching up/down.OK, just making sure you understand changing pitch on each song the same percentage doesn’t mean they will all then play at the same speed/tempo.And again, you’re correct — when you un-check ‘reset pitch after automix’ it SHOULD be keeping the pitch wherever you left it, at the same percentage. This function seems to be broken right now in 3.6.1.1. That’s why my first response said I confirmed the issue and sent it over to development to address. It will be fixed in the next release, we may even have a patch for it in the next couple of business days. Thanks for pointing it out, you were the first! - Posts
